Title: The 14th International Peat Congress

Description: The International Peat Congress (IPC) takes place every forth year. The theme of the 14th IPC is ”Peatlands in Balance” and its core will be presentations and documentation of the latest research results on peat and peatlands in the broadest sense from the boreal, temperate, and tropical regions of the world.

The theme of the 14th IPC is ”Peatlands in Balance” and its core will be presentations and documentation of the latest research results on peat and peatlands in the broadest sense from the boreal, temperate, and tropical regions of the world.

Change in the Programme: Lena Ek, the Minister for the Environment, recently (30/5) announced that she, unfortunately, is unable to attend the Congress  and give her Keynote speech. The State Secretary Anders Flanking will replace her.
