Riau's top leader today gave an assurance that the provincial Government would act aggressively to put out fires which have been blazing in some 20,000 hectares of forests in the province over the last two weeks. Riau Governor Rusli Zainal said the Indonesian army, police, firefighters and non-governmental organisations were already in the affected areas. |
